At this special presentation, Maya Gottfried will talk about how even her writing on serious topics is ultimately a celebration of life, and how she goes about acknowledging and addressing mistakes of the past as an author.

About our presenter: Maya Gottfried is the author of three children's books, including Good Dog and Our Farm: By the Animals of Farm Sanctuary (both published by Knopf), as well as the adult nonfiction lifestyle guide Vegan Love. Her essays have appeared in media outlets including Oprah Daily,  The Washington Post, and Stat (Boston Globe Media).
